Vernon Billiards

In House Pool League

Welcome to the ANAF Pool League

Our 8-ball league brings together a group of like-minded players who enjoy the game, good company, and a fun night out around the table. Matches run on Monday and Tuesday evenings from September to early April, giving players a consistent and enjoyable season to look forward to.

You’ll find a great mix of players in the league—some who love the competitive side of the game and others who are here just as much for the social atmosphere. The focus is on enjoying the match, playing fair, and keeping things friendly, making it a comfortable place for players of all skill levels.

This is a house league, so all matches are played at the same location—no pub hopping involved. Players must be 19+ to participate, as the venue is licensed and serves drinks. Overall, it’s a relaxed, welcoming league built around good pool, good people, and a great atmosphere.

📚 Rules Overview

Monday and Tuesday leagues are separate leagues. Each night has its own standings, statistics, playoffs, and payouts. Players are welcome to play on both nights; however, statistics are not combined, and registration fees apply to each league separately.

Each player will play every player on the opposing team once, for a total of 4 games per player (16 games per team each night). Team captains, or their designate, will complete the lineup on the scoresheets. The visiting team fills out their lineup first.

Teams are responsible for finding their own spares. If a team is unable to find a spare, they may contact a member of the Board of Directors, who can provide access to the league’s spare list. A spare can only be registered to one team per night.

Spares are permitted during the playoffs, provided the spare has played a minimum of 28 regular season games in the current season. Games played on Monday and Tuesday leagues may be combined toward the 28-game minimum. A spare’s first name and last initial must be listed on the score sheet for that game to count toward the 28 — their points still count either way, but the game itself won’t count toward eligibility without it.

If a team cannot field a fourth player, the missing player’s games will be recorded as 10–0 losses. The remainder of the match will continue as scheduled.
